We want to help you reach your goals. That’s why we offer scholarships to our members and their family.

These $1,500 scholarships can be used toward the cost of study at any accredited postsecondary institution in Canada.

Who Can Apply

Who can apply?

 

  • CLAC members, their spouse, children, and grandchildren.
  • You must be attending or accepted at an accredited postsecondary institution or an accredited apprenticeship program in Canada.
  • You may be enrolled in either full-time or part-time studies.
  • If you have previously won a CLAC scholarship, you are not eligible to apply again.

  1. Complete the online form.
  2. Upload proof of enrolment / acceptance letter.
  3. Submit your 250–500 word response to this year's question (see below).

Share a story about someone in your workplace who inspired you with their example of dignity, fairness, or respect on the job. What did you learn from observing them, and how does that lesson influence how you think about CLAC’s approach to building fair and respectful workplaces? If you do not have personal work experience, you may interview a CLAC family member about their experience instead.


 

FAQs

Members, their spouses, children, and grandchildren can apply regardless of the year of study, as long as they are entering or attending an accredited postsecondary institution or an accredited apprenticeship program in Canada.

For new students, a copy of the acceptance letter must be submitted. If the scholarship committee requires further proof, the winner may be asked to send a proof of enrolment in early September before the scholarship cheque will be sent. Continuing students must submit proof of enrolment.

No. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any applications past the deadline. We must ensure we have fair and consistent rules for all our members across the country.

You will receive an automated message indicating we have received your application. If your application is not complete or we require more information, we will reach out to you.

We will contact the winners by phone by August 15, 2026. If you do not receive a phone call, unfortunately you have not been selected as a winner.
